DJ CHEF aka CHEFAL!!!
(Sub Freq – Flex FM – Ringo – Transition – Sin City – Croydub – Soul Jazz – Wheel & Deal)

One of the pioneering DJs of Dubstep, 23 years young Chefal aka Chef, hails from the home of Dubstep, Croydon, South London.

He hooked up with Benga and Skream many years back through Big Apple Records (Croydon) and has been the main DJ in the crew Smooth Kriminals. Chefal rinses out the freshest dubz from Digital Mystikz, Loefah, L.D, Plastician, Cyrus, Tubby, N-Type, Conquest and Silkie, Walsh, Martyn, Burial, Kode 9, Clue Kid and Cotti, Pinch, Jakes, Kutz, Joker, Distance, Hijak, Kromestar and Cessman.

When he isn’t playing the latest dubs, he’s busy making them at Transition Studios, while training to become a Mastering Engineer and managing the mighty Ringo Records, Sub Freq Records and pulling the strings with Osiris behind the London/Amsterdam run label Subbalicious Records.

Chefal’s upfront selection and skills on the decks have led him to all corners of the globe spreading the Dubstep virus: Vancouver, New Zealand, Seattle, LA, Chicago, San Fransisco, New York & all over the UK.

Without a doubt one of the finest DJs in dubstep, Youngsta’s flawless mixing and deadly accurate selection place him at the forefront of this evolving scene. Representing flagship label Tempa with an exclusive array of dubplates, his sets continue to raise the bar for quality and innovation. Despite his young age, Youngsta has already attained veteran status in the dubstep scene. Residencies at FWD and Rinse FM set him apart as a tastemaker and pioneer, supporting early productions from the likes of El‐B, Horsepower, Loefah, Digital Mystikz, Skream, Benga, D1 and Headhunter. More recently, he’s been working alongside Seven, Kryptic Minds and Icicle, with fresh collaborative/solo material set for release in 2013!
